Duff & Phelps’ Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice provides seamless analytical advisory through the deal continuum, from transaction origination to closing.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing an analysis of historical performance and identifying key performance drivers and quality of earnings restatements
  • Analysing quality of the net debt and debt-like items
  • Analysing cyclicality of company’s business and working capital trends
  • Analysing historical cash flows of the Company
  • Investigating contingent liabilities, off-balance sheet items and related party transactions and identifying potential risks in connection with the transaction
  • Analysing business plan forecasts considering historical performance analysis
  • Preparing or analysing proforma/carved-out accounts
  • Researching technical accounting topics
  • Handling the discussions with management and the Q&A process
  • Drafting the due diligence report
  • Participating in the post due diligence process when appropriate (e.g. participating to the Q&A process with potential buyers in case of a seller due diligence) 
Requirements:
  • Graduated from a top leading Business or Engineering School
  • Minimum 2-years practical experience in finance (Transaction Advisory Services, Audit, M&A etc)
  • Computer proficiency and ability to maximise applications such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to master new tasks and industries quickly
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
  • Commitment to obtaining outstanding results
  • Excellent French and English required
