- Obtaining information required for valuations
- Preparing valuations and reports
- Managing instruction timelines and ensuring deadlines
- Property inspections
- Supervising and coordinating a team of junior valuers / analysts
- Working to build and maintain client relationships
- Independently gathering data pertinent to valuation engagements through direct client interaction, including personal & telephone Interviews with Brokers and Property Managers
- Performing in-depth industry, market and competitor research
- Reviewing industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends
- Reporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including written reports
- Attending relevant industry events to broaden your knowledge and experience within the alternative asset industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
- Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
- Team player – willing to take on other responsibilities in addition to day to day role
- Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding results
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in real estate
- MRICS qualified
- Minimum 4 years' of experience in Real Estate Valuation
- Previous experience in Red Book Valuations and report writing is essential
- Knowledge of the UK real estate market is desired
- DCF and traditional valuation methodology experience preferable
- Solid analytical and numerical skills - able to interpret data and discuss findings in reports
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (report writing and proofreading capabilities essential)
- Fluency in other European languages would be advantageous but not essential
- Able to travel within EMEA (when required)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
- Experience working with diverse teams
