Our Compliance Risk and Diligence practice needs a Salesforce.com Developer who is proficient around Apex, Visualforce and full SFDC project implementations, responsible for designing, coding, and unit testing project assignments. Ability to understand the existing code-base and debugging, work on complex customizations, all in the ever-increasingly demand of a global business in the 21st century.


This skilled and experienced engineer will partner closely with our USA-based developers, business analysts and project managers to further enhance and modernize a critical line-of-business web-based application.


You’ll need to be self-motivated, a great communicator and deeply technical across the full stack. You’ll be working with the other developer and software QA teams in Hyderabad, and key stakeholders in USA, United Kingdom, India, Hong Kong, and elsewhere throughout the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the senior developer on certain projects and enhancements of high-complexity.

  • Develop a deep understanding of how the application works and how it is used.

  • Need a sense of how a feature “should” work without explicit requirements.

  • Convert functional specifications into technical solutions with minimal guidance.

  • Develop integration processes with external systems using APIs and web services including third-party integration tools.

  • Perform complex analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents.

  • Review code for potential performance, security, or reusability issues.

  • Review code to ensure that it meets the requirements, or of you see a “better way”.

  • Interact with the project owner, key stakeholders, QA, and other developers as needed.

  • Desire for self-improvement, both manager-led and self-identified.

  • Provide support to end users.

  • Troubleshoot and fix production issues.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience developing Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Custom Controllers, Batch Apex and writing test classes

  • Strong knowledge of OOPS 

  • Solid grounding and experience in Salesforce.com Configuration, clear understanding of Security & Quality Best Practices on Force.com and code optimization.

  • Prefer to have following:

  • Have working experience on 2 to 3 end to end implementation projects

  • Hands on experience in implementation of Salesforce communities. 

  • Strong working experience with code deployment methods like change sets, force.com IDE and ANT

  • Working experience on versioning tools like SVN/GitHub, etc

  • Knowledge to setup SSO using ADFS

  • Work closely with Product owner and interact with clients to understand their requirements to develop.

  • Able to guide the junior team members and review their deliverables including code reviews.

  • Familiarity in methodologies such as Agile/SCRUM

  • Able to follow latest Salesforce platform features, cross check the impacts with existing code base and apply changes accordingly

  • Developing UI front ends with HTML, JavaScript and CSS/Bootstrap and responsive design, have good exposure in jQuery.

  • Experience with REST/ SOAP based web services and their integration with salesforce platform

  • Knowledge of the Salesforce App Exchange ecosystem.

  • Documentation skills
