  • Act as Designated person performing management functions for UCITS and AIFMS
  • Responsible for developing procedures and controls for the oversight of capital and financial management and other relevant managerial functions
  • Oversee the production of the fund accounts and the preparation of the management company financial statements and capital adequacy returns
  • Attend Board meetings
  • Oversee, project-manage and coordinate delivery for the various assignments, under strong standards of quality and responsiveness
  • Formalize and strengthen the company’s procedures to constantly improve operational effectiveness
  • Be responsible for overseeing the daily team’s activities
  • Ensure, collegially and as a member of the Designated Person team, adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Be the direct point and local expert re capital and financial management matters with clients, service providers and other stakeholders
  • Manage on-site visits to administrators, investment managers and transfer agents
  • Work with other team members in delivering a seamless service
  • Work with head of Dublin office to develop business though leadership initiatives
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the financial industry preferably in finance.
  • Previous experience as a Designated Person for UCITS or AIFM would be desirable
  • A university degree in finance or accounting is desired, and/or a professional accounting qualification
  • Expert knowledge of UCITS and/or AIFM directive and regulatory compliance and of fund products
  • Willingness to take challenges, ”can-do attitude”, think outside the box
  • Autonomous yet team-player, open attitude, excellent communication skills, eagerness to learn, curiosity
  • Ability to lead projects and to manage them, analytical skills
  • Innovative, drive for results and commitment to deliver
  • Experience in investment management and assessment of investment performance
