Responsibilities:
As an Intern, you will be afforded the opportunity to work on projects that help our clients rethink how they select and leverage legal technology to increase efficiency and demonstrate measurable value to management. Client engagement activities include data analysis, data conversion, process development, system integration and third-party application development.
- Assist with gathering business requirements and preparing documentation of required functionality, timelines and testing scenarios
- Assist in developing business reports using industry standard tools such as Business Objects or Cognos
- Assist in developing and implementing business requirements using third-party API tools
- Assist in analyzing functional requirements and implement without direct supervision
- Assist in testing, debugging and fixing code
- Work with a variety of clients in multiple industries to leverage new technologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Draft internal and external communications, including client status reports and internal progress summaries
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a MIS or Computer Science related degree
- Expected graduation date between December 2012 and August 2013
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 OR if your school does not use GPA, must be in the top 20% of class
- Basic understanding of relational database design concepts
- Strong conceptual and analytic skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to master new tasks and understand different industries quickly
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
- Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding results
